Things are starting to take shape with the conch.  We have the wonderful Angus who has taken on the task of creating it.  

Housing Expo

Here we got a chance to have a look around the expo site, as you can see its still a work in progress.  We decided to have a little raid of the skips for some inspiration on material that could potentiality be incorporated into our conche.

We are delighted to be working in collaboration with IOTA to develop a commission for Scotland’s Housing Expo, which is due to take place at Milton of Leys, 1-31 August.  We are currently in the process of creating The Conch Shell Studio a mobile structure that will initially be situated at the expo site, but which we hope will travel throughout the Highlands.

We want to use the Conch Shell Studio as a symbolic meeting point, a way of calling together people of the community to discuss ideas surrounding identity, community and sustainability within the Highlands.
